In this opportunity, I want to share knowledge with you with what I do this time. On this occasion, I posted an assigned excercise assignment from my 2nd english language lecturer on campus.

This sentence is conditional sentences containing if clause. This sentence pattern is a simple present
followed by future
Exercise 22

Adam is used to sleeping late on weekends
It is about used to (verb+ing form)
This sentence states that it is accustomed to. This sentence describes the sleep verbs followed by
affixes -ing and explains this activity is commonly done.

This sentence explains that this studied in the context of verb in simple pas tense in this sentence
explains the present contrary to fact.

This is about must/should followed by perfective
This sentence describes the word must followed perfective followed by verb 3

This is about adjectives and adverbs sentences
This sentence describes adjectives. Because in this sentence there is a word soon which implements this
plane will soon arrive in the near future. And includes the definite numeral adjective

The music sounded too noisy to be classical
This is about linking compulative verbs
This sentence explains the element of descriptive adjective and the correct pattern is to use the word
noisy in this sentence, not noisy.
Exercise 28
A greyhound runs ___(fast) than a chihuahua
A greyhounds runs faster than a chihuhua
It is about degree of comparison
Faster here explains the comparison. The word possesses no more than 2 syllables, then the word ending
is added with ipher-as a complement to the comparative adverb sentence. And the adverb here explains
the word runs that greyhound ran faster than the chihuahua.

Sam wears the same shirt ____ his teammates
Sam wears the same shirt as his teammates
It is about comparisons
The word as in this sentence becomes a conjunctive word and this sentence pattern is used for equal
comparison.

This vegetable soup tastes very (good/well)
This vegetable soup tastes very good
It is about comparisons
Good in this sentence is the adjective that describes the noun is the vegetable soup itself.
